Thank you eurodance and welcome to the board - through my own investigations I have managed to uncover 7 different Pif Gadget Blackstar stories (counting the three part 'La Conque d'Or' as one story), was just interested in finally getting that absolutely confirmed by someone who knew more about Pif Gadget than I do  Just to clarify though, the stories I have found were: Pif Gadget # 846 - Le naufrage du cosmos Pif Gadget # 852 - La foret de cristal Pif Gadget # 854 - La tempete de feu Pif Gadget # 859 - La monstre de la boue Pif Gadget # 860 - La flute de magie Pif Gadget # 866 - La conque d'or (the games section and free gift in this issue were also Blackstar themed) Pif Gadget # 867 - La conque d'or: La meute des monstres Pif Gadget # 868 - La conque d'or: Le choc des epees Pif Gadget # 873 - Le territoire des vampires So that is all the Blackstar stories that appeared in Pif Gadget? This is a big help getting this sorted out - thank you again |

Thanks for the confirmation And those toy ad scans, very nice! I have the issues with some of those (I know I have the Gargo ad somewhere) but haven't seen all of them -especially those posters! I believe there was a Blackstar poster in issue 861 as well, in the telepif section? Monteeg also said that issue 865 had a full page ad for the La conque d'or story as well. Are you a collector of Pif Gadget eurodance, if you don't mind me asking? Or just an avid Blackstar fan like all of us here I have been doing very rough translations of the French Blackstar stories - because of proboard rules about content most of that happens over at the Blackstar Yahoo Group: dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/Planet_Sagar/?v=1&t=directory&ch=web&pub=groups&sec=dir&slk=5 |

I had all these Pif magazines when I was young, but lost everything when I move out. All I have now is scans. Blackstar was a big sucess there in France (especially the toyline). Here's the Blackstar page of the issue 865.  |

It's interesting to hear how Blackstar enjoyed some success in France! Did you ever have the other French Blackstar comic, the Edition Lugs one? I have a copy that I plan on scanning soon, hopefully when I am on holidays next. Thank you for the link, I didn't knew this site. I've got all scans of Blackstar in Pif Magazine, and own a copiy of the Lug Comic. Did you miss any of the Blackstar comic of the Pif magazine ? Or everything has already been posted ? PS : oops, I just saw that the previous pic was a mistake. Here's the Ad of the issue 865. Sorry.  |

Thank you for the scan of the full page 'next issue' ad from issue 865! Over at the Blackstar Yahoo group we have scans from all the issues up, from a mixture of sources. We didn't have any of those advertisement scans though |

Welcome to this forum !!!
Before you confirmed all Pif Blackstar magazines, coinilius and I tried to catalog all Blackstar issues.
I purchased a wonderful Pif Gadgets lot last year and I realized how amazing those stories were...
I only miss two issues. But I have #865 incluing a preview of "La Conque D'Or" saga.
