I know it's a very rare publication but I'd like to know more about it ?
Which company publicated it ? In which countries the books were avaiable ? How many different books are known ? Does anyone here has pics of book inside ?
Thanks, guys !

The covers were not the same as that one...unfortunately I don't know from which country it belonged... I hope a French Blackstar fan fellow help us...

I think every colouring book that came out at the time was french, no other country had books or comics (except Greece that had that very unique comic). Blackstar was a big hit in France!!!!

WOW !!!
The Wind Machine is one of my dreams...
I think the start price for WM is very expensive...the seller consider WM worths the same as Ice Castle - I don't agree with that.
Anyway, congratulations for your "new toy", my friend ! It's a wonderful add to your collection.
P.S. do you know who had purchased the coloring book

Thanks man! Yes, it really is a fantastic toy! I consider it the best vehicle ever released! No motu vehicle is a match for it (I admit that inspite of the fact that I'm a motu maniac!) I bought it cheaper than the ice castle! I made an offer to the seller and he accepted, and he was kind enough to ship it very fast!!! P.S. do you know who had purchased the coloring book No, I don't know that... It could be anybody...

Even the cover art on that is exciting to see!

That also gives us a new avenue in our searches - Volumetrix! A quick look for Volumetrix and Blackstar reveals that they were the makers of the really shoddy looking other Blackstar board game (the one without all the awesome art work)
Hopefully a more comprehensive search might bring us some more information...

Welcome back, coinilius ! We miss you and your wonderful comments....
When this seller listed his amazing itens (sealed playsets, MOC figures, Cesar masks and other Blackstar memorabilia), I was really interested in this coloring book. Unfortunately he ended this auction early and sold a few memorabilia itens to a particular collector... I tried to convince him to go ahead since I was looking for this coloring book but he didn't...
I never understand why there are no inside pictures of those coloring books out there
Coinilius, do you remember a picture of two coloring books I sent to you years ago

Was it this one? They appear to be a different brand/release compared to the one's which have been pictured in this thread so far - the Volumetrix ones appear to have cover images which use new artwork, seemingly based on episodes or situations from the TV show... The first is from 'Mermaid of the Serpent Sea', while the second has Blackstar facing off against what looks like a Cave Ape, except in a grassy, mountainous area instead of the ice and also Blackstar never actually battled a Cave Ape on the show. It kind of looks like Blackstar vs Bigfoot! Also of note is that the mermaid looks like a standard female mermannite (coloured incorrectly) than Queen Brindell. Which is closer in design to the concept art of Queen Brindell rather than the character model used in the show: What that means for the contents of the colouring books, I don't know - the image you sent me years ago is of books that seem to use Pif Gadget, Edition Lugs artwork, while these ones seem to be sporting original artwork. Coloriages et Jeux would be 'Colouring Pages and Games' so they might have activity pages like find a words and mazes and stuff in them as well.
