The episode scripts clearly say "Blackstar." Yup. It's just the guy's last name (surname). His nemesis is referred to as "The Overlord," as though it was a title.

Last time I checked "Blackstar" is an actual Native American surname.
When writing the character I also gave Blackstar a translated Sagarese name and title. I figure he'd probably have one.
