Not much action here, in the last... months? ;D Anyway, I would like a Japanese OAV rendition of our favourite hero, that would be a blast.

I doubt very much anything like that would happen, for one simple reason: Farscape. This show took some of the original elements and combined them in such that 1. I'm convinced the writers have actually seen Blackstar, and 2. even though Blackstar came first, the viewing public has such a short attention span, they wouldn't be likely to remember anything from that far back.
That isn't to say I wouldn't support a new show, if done correctly, or if BCI, which owns the rights to the property, I think, asked me to assist. I was asked to assist with the DVD, and am already published, and already have a fan-developed canon for what could be a new show, so maybe....
The last thing I'd want to see is Japanese anything. Why does anime have to rule everything? The 2002 He-Man was done that way, and I hated it.
Right now, I just don't think so. Hollywood is still fudging with bringing a film version of He-Man to the big screen.

Zim, why don't you open a specific thread telling us about your involvement into the DVD development, details and all? That would be a blast! By the way... who knows... they are working on a CGI-animated theatrical version of 'Thundercats'... everything is possible nowdays.

I wasn't present for any of the interviews or anything like that. I contributed material which ended up on the trivia portion of the DVD package, some of the interview questions, and the storyboards which are on the second disk.
A number of questions did not get answered, which leads me to suspect there are no actual answers.

A number of questions did not get answered, which leads me to suspect there are no actual answers. You know what, I like the fact there are many unanswered questions in 'Blackstar', because that increases the mystique of the series a lot! And Sagar is a mysterious place, definitely.
