This is one for the toy (and comics) collectors: Anyone remember Crystar the Crystal Warrior? It came out around the same time the Blackstar & He-Man toys did. I loved the tv commercials for them. Sadly I never got any of the figures. They looked really cool though. I especially wanted the Crystal Dragon.

Mavel Comics designed the characters with Remco toys (I thought it was Hasbro but no, it was Remco). They printed a run of 11 comics with the title of The Saga of Crystar, Crystal Warrior in 1983. Here is a guide to the toys: www.action-figures.ca/crystar.htm

I wish they would have done an animated series with the characters. I think the toys and comics would have really become popular if they had done that.

Never reached in my country too.I'm interesting seriously to buy comics and toys from ebay.They have tons of them in good prices.A special trivia:Glen Danzig is a huge Crystar fan and for that reason take the skull logo from the issue 8 for Samhain and his band.
