Sounds like a great idea Blackstar76! EDIT: If you email me the scans, just send me a PM as well if you could - I sometimes go for a couple of days without checking that email address. That's interesting that Tongo is leading the demons in the Greek comic as well! The Edition Lugs comic doesn't have that - instead, it has multiple Leopard Men!

Tongo is called "Tongo the werewolf" in the greek line. A werewolf or a leopard man then?
And since this thread is about the connection between infaceables and blackstar, now hear this; In the greek line 4 of the moonmen (as the greek infaceables line was called) were heroic and the rest were evil. The concept was similar to that of the rock people and the meteorbs in motu. I mean they came from a planet that was destroyed and the heroic moonmen pledged themselves to atlas, helping him in his fight against scorpio (the rock people helped she-ra and he-man against hordak). The evil monnmen went with scorpio. Anyone knows about their part in the blackstar line?

Interesting about Tongo - he's a Leopard Man in English! Good question about the Infaceables and Blackstar - they never made it into being actually part of Blackstar in America/English, they were just released as a seperate line. However from the Netherlands we get this... Which says: something like: "Blackstar and Infaceables, they're powerful to play with! Ridiculously cool, what the Blackstar is experiencing. You know 'em all, of course, because of that swinging "Blackstar" album. Just like the hit song by Georgie Davis! Blackstar and Infaceables are now been made into a monstrous, beautiful door poster. For only five dollars he can be in your room. So quickly go to the store before that giant poster is gone!" Which of course doesn't help us out at all (I had to google translate most of that, but the meaning is pretty clear lol ). But it shows that they were advertised together in other countries as well. And that artwork is pretty cool, even if one of the heads on it seems to be Falco from the Starfox games

Thank you for these likns man, you've done some serious research about it. The french have saved the day again! I mean wow man, they know everything about these lines!! It seems that blackstar had some connection with the infaceables after all, at least in Europe. And thanks for this poster as well. I believe I have seen it at the action figure archive forum. But I never knew what it was saying. Not very helpful though, you're right. Now, isn't that a werewolf in the poster? Interesting...

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what those heads in the poster are meant to be - a blue chicken, a werewolf and some old blue dude - the White Knight is the only really recognizable one (apart from Blackstar) lol
One of the Infaceables is a chicken so that's probably that one, rather than it being a totally off-model Palace Gaurd...

The "A blue chicken" comment was hilarious!!! LOL!!!! Oh man, that was good... I thought this was a palace guard... Anyway, there's no official story about the infaceables. About the white knight: The white knight has always been a mystery to me. I always thought that this guy is crios with his helmet on. If you check the cartoon his type of hands and costume match these of the action figure. Some say that he made a brief appearance in the cartoon (for a few seconds), but I searched a milion times and still haven't found him... What do you think?
By the way, congrats for your 4star promotion!!! I'll try and get the greek comic scans done asap.

Yeah, never seen him in the cartoon myself either - but if you look closely, his body is identical to the ice gun soldiers from City of the Ancient Ones and Lightning City of the Clouds except they're in green and he's in white - plus the Palace Gaurd toy is sporting their ice gun/back pack combo!
If I had any kitbashing skills I would totally try to make a ice soldier out of White Knight lol

Galaxy Warrior ( a great living resource of obscure action figure information) once made a custom Crios action figure out of a Kadray - unfortunately the image links are now down and I didn't save them

Sorry for thd triple post - the blue chicken is a strange one - he had the eyebrows of Palace Gaurd, but Torto the Claw has the yellow comb like that picture has - and seriously, he looks more like Falco Lombardo than either the Palace Gaurd or Torto lol

And who that old blue dude might be? Well, I think the dutch have messed it up like us. There might be a dutch comic alternate to the franchise out there and we just don't know it yet...

Well I haven't been able to find any further leads on 'Blackstar and the Infaceables' yet, but I don't know Dutch so I will keep noodling about on Dutch google and see if I can find anything...
Edit: I did, however, find a comment that someone had made on an old X-Entertainment article where the user said that Blackstar and the Infaceables were marketed as one toyline over there - he also provided a link to an image of an ad, but the site no longer exists (the ad was probably the same one I posted earlier but you never know).
