Since coinilius posted the scans (Thanks man) at the yahoo group, I'll do my best and provide the translation to the comic. So, here we go...
Page 1 First panel Caption: On the highest peak of the hills of Tamboryon, where the castle of power stands, there's a lot of nervousness. Atlas, along with neptul and leon are away on a mission, while in the castle remained overlord and the silver dwarves, the silvermen.
Second panel Balkar: I don't know what's happening to me today, Gossamer. I sense a great danger coming to the castle. Gossamer: Calm down Balkar! If I listened to what you say, I'd be so scared that I'd fly all day!!!
Third panel Caption: But Balkar was right. Inside the castle's radar room... Overlord: By the flames of the valley of fire!!! It can't be! It's Scorpio!

This time the diamond is mine! Tongo: Just a moment mighty Scorpio! Gargo seems to sense something! Second panel Gargo: I sense the castle is very weak mighty Scorpio. Atlas is not inside. Third Panel Tongo: Then, it's going to be much easier! The diamond is definately ours! Fourth panel Overlord: Quickly!!! Battle stations! We are under attack by Scorpio! Fifth panel Terra: I'm tremp... trempl... trempling! Riff: Ah! Gossamer: Scorpio! But how...? Balkar: You see? Nobody believed me! Sixth panel Overlord: Well, it's time to put the starsword in use. Seventh panel Gossamer: Indeed, I'm so scared that I will fly away!

Thanks again for all the effort you're putting into this Blackstar76! It is much appreciated It's fascinating to see the differences and similarities throughout this - like the use of Tamboryon as a place name, and the Silvermen seem very similar to the Trobbits lol It's so strange having a good Overlord as well!

No problem man. I'll try to move on as fast as I can.
It seems that Gargo has psychic powers too! I've forgotten about that...

Take your time, there's no rush! I saw that with Gargo - it's actually pretty interesting... helps give him something unique, and he never got much use in the French comics, where he was really just a flying thug. EDIT: Just so everyone is aware, here is another link to the Planet Sagar yahoo group where Blackstar76's scans can be found: groups.yahoo.com/group/Planet_Sagar/

Great stuff! So Leon is able to shape shift into any form as well, like Klone? I was thinking with the name change he might have been limited only to becoming the 'cloud cat' form from the toy.
That red dragon form would have been a great repaint of Warlock as a toy! A pity one wasn't put out lol

Yeah, the guys at El Greco had already watched the cartoon and kept Leon's shape shifting ability. Well, Leon is a heroic name for us Greeks and they felt it fitted in, but I can say that they were definately inspired by the toy's cloud cat transformation. They also knew what the motu cartoon was about. That's why you see many similarities, like the one that the ice castle is something like Grayskull (you know, the bad guys always trying to conquer it because of the powers it holds inside).

And the two swords being needed to act as a key - very MotU mini-comic!

Yes, indeed. Too many similarities. Here's another piece of information that I just remembered: This mini comic was hosted in some popular greek boy magazines like pif gadget, as el greco was trying to promote the line. I remember, my parents had just bought me atlas's action figure, and I would run to the newspaper store to buy the magazine in order to read the comic! The magazine hosted a single page every two weeks!

And now page 5
First panel Leon: Strange! It's very quiet! Atlas: Either they've done something very wrong or...
Second panel Tongo: Now!
Third panel Caption: Scorpio, with his special weapon, imprisons our friends inside impenetrable spheres.
Forth panel Atlas (inside the sphere): Scorpio!
Fifth panel Scorpio: You are powerless now Atlas.
Sixth panel Scorpio: And now for the diamond! Ha,ha,ha! Take them to the dungeons with the others!
