To tell you the truth I was never a fan of John Carter. I enjoyed the movie though. It was nice.

I was never familiar with the character but the supreme art from Frazetta is well known for many people including myself. monteeg-Do you own stuff in your collection man?Books, comics or figures?

My friend, I only have a few Marvel comics (maybe 3-4). Unfortunately there are no great action figures of John Carter, specially one that fits well next to MOTU... Disney lost a good opportunity to bring amazing figures of the film.

The novels are so much better than the movie - the movie wasn't as bad as it's made out to be, but I was disappointed in it... I think 'the Gods of Mars' was my favorite of the novels.

If you join some John Carter of Mars and Thundarr the Barbarian concepts, you will easily find amazing shows like Blackstar and Farscape !

I liked the movie and I'm a bit pissed off that FOX will not recast Taylor as Gambit for 'X-Men: Apocalypse' (2016).
I just think the movie was well crafted and well produced, it was pure vintage entertainment, but people didn't care and it tanked big time.

I've seen the movie. It was ok but can't remember much so it probably wasn't great. The Frazetta painting with the Tiger is one of the greatest Frazetta paintins ever!
