(Though I originally sent this as a personal message to Titian, upon further reflection, I thought it might be worth repeating to the general readership of this forum...)
Although I discovered the Blackstar message board several months ago, I only just posted for the first time yesterday. I'm sorry to see so little activity on this message board (as I'm sure you are, as well). Anyway, I just wanted to take a moment to encourage you to keep this thing alive! John Blackstar is an iconic hero, in the same vein as E.R. Burroughs' "John Carpenter of Mars." Though short-lived, the Blackstar series represents a seminal moment in the world of sci-fi/ fantasy crossovers, and deserves far more recognition than it receives. This is a universe just begging for quality fan-fiction and art, yet precious little of it can be found in cyberspace. Let's keep fanning the flames of Blackstar!

This board is HERE to stay, granted. I love the character and the series to the point I'll keep this board alive in the many centuries to come. I would like to promote RETURN TO SAGAR even better, but IT'S UP TO EVERYONE, however! This is YOUR forum, not only mine.
And you're damn right. BLACKSTAR is a post-modern icon, and deserves a much stronger cult following, and more vocal fans everywhere in the world. In my book, he's an excellent hero who belongs to one of the greatest American series ever produced.

Heheheh... oops! I'm a notorious self-editor, and can't believe I made that error. Chalk it up to the fact that I just watched the film, John Carpenter's Vampires, I guess. Jeeez... Rather than edit my original post, I'll let it stand as a testament to the fallibility of even the most ardent supporters of the Blackstar mythos.
