Coinilius, sadly I think all Blackstar publications in the world are inside these Pif Gadgets issues we talked about and the Lug Book. I am sure there are no other stories in any other media around the globe. No newspaper strips, no children books or any magazines at all. But in France and Belgim, Blackstar was a big hit... much more than in EUA !!!

Thanks for your information again, my friend. This Greek is line is realy awful...Well, I am impressive with Gatti and Mitton arts. Both did a great job in Blackstar comics. Infact, very close to cartoon. I was wondering...I could try to do an all-new crossover story incluiding He-Man (from the whole universe of comics we have) and Blackstar (from french megazines/book).

That would be very interesting to see - really, any Blackstar fan projects are great to see attempted, as there are so few out there As for the Greek stuff..well, I don't think it quite counts as Blackstar as we usually know it, but it still holds some interest as a curiosity, IMO. I do like the look of the green Trobbits that were released as part of the line. The French really seemed to take to Blackstar, and certainly, the Pif Gadget comic, while not entirely accurate to the cartoon, certainly came very close. Like you said, Gatti did very well with the art, capturing the animation models quite well - and I love the 'extra' trobbits that he created as well!

An update - I finally won a copy of the Edition Lugs Blackstar comic, which arrived the other day. Over the Christmas holidays I hope to get scans of it done. It is certainly an interesting looking story - like the Pif Gadget Blackstar comics, there are a number of interesting looking differences that set it apart from the traditional Filmation Blackstar.

I don't have them, although I remember Galaxy Warrior mentioning something about them once before - I don't think he had them either though, he was just aware of their existence.... would you mind posting a link to where you found this picture? I have been looking for a lead on Blackstar colouring books for awhile

To add to this - coincidentally, I was just looking through this thread the other day to recheck your post where you confirmed the Pif Gadget issue numbers Monteeg, because I believe that there might be something else to add to that list now - not another story, unfortunately, but I have come across references to their being a Blackstar poster included with issue 861. Unfortunately, finding such a poster is probably going to be pretty hard since it is included in the Telepif section which I guess is some kind of pull out section... I have never gotten a Pif Gadget issue that still included it, so I am guessing most were pulled out long ago.

Thank you for that link - seeing it, I think I might have seen that website before years ago... will keep an eye out anything that might turn up Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the poster at the moment - I found reference to it on a Pif Gadget information site which listed the various posters that appeared in the magazine: 193.251.82.94/pif-collection/master.html?http://193.251.82.94/pif-collection/posters.htmlI haven't found any pictures of it yet, but have other Pif Gadget posters on the french ebay, so maybe something will come up one day
